Bengaluru: Canara Bank has announced the appointment of S. K. Majumdar as Executive Director, effective March 24, 2025. Prior to this elevation, Shri Majumdar served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Canara Bank.
With over 25 years of experience in the banking sector, Shri Majumdar is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, bringing deep financial expertise and strategic leadership to his new role. Having been associated with Canara Bank since January 2000, he has held various key positions across branches and administrative offices, playing a crucial role in shaping the bank’s financial strategy, governance, and operational excellence.
His appointment underscores Canara Bank’s commitment to strengthening leadership and driving sustainable growth. As Executive Director, Majumdar is expected to play a pivotal role in furthering the Bank’s vision for innovation, customer-centric services, and financial resilience.
