Mumbai: Bumble Inc. has appointed Neil Shah to the newly created position of Chief Business Officer (CBO), marking a significant move as the company accelerates its strategic transformation. Shah will be responsible for driving the execution of Bumble’s revenue model, pricing strategy, and partnerships, further cementing the company’s commitment to scaling its business globally.
Shah brings a wealth of experience to this role, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Operations at Slack, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and transformation over eight years. Earlier in his career, Shah held strategic roles at Twitter and began his professional journey as a consultant at McKinsey & Co.
Neil’s appointment is effective immediately.

Alongside this announcement, Bumble Inc. also revealed that Anu Subramanian, the company’s current Chief Financial Officer (CFO), will resign to pursue opportunities outside the company. Anu will remain in her role through March 14, 2025, supporting the transition and overseeing Bumble’s year-end earnings and the filing of its Form 10-K. Bumble has initiated a search process for her successor.
