Britannia Industries has launched an ad film for its biscuit brand Bourbon. The campaign film seeks to underline and own the chocolate flavour.
The film is set in an international conference with people from multiple nations in attendance. An Indian delegate / diplomat opens proceedings saying that the Bourbon has a layer of chocolate above two layers of chocolate, the play being on above. His claim is vociferously contested by a German delegate who says it is a layer of chocolate below two other layers of chocolate. Other chime in for and against and mayhem ensues, while the brand reiterates its chocolatey message. A voiceover surmises that whichever way one looks at it, it’s about chocolate, chocolate and chocolate.
The film ends with one delegate telling his assistant that it’s a layer of chocolate behind two other layers of chocolate, capping the film that packs a generous dose of humour.
