Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. So, through these campaigns brands have shown their respect towards all women. Here are a few of the campaigns by different brands.
Mitron TV: This Women’s Day, Mitron, India’s leading short-format video app, has launched a campaign to urge one and all to celebrate women heroes in their lives. The campaign ‘#SuperWoman’, which will run until 8th March 2021, pays tribute to the tireless efforts of women and lauds the rapid strides that they have taken when it comes to burning the candle at both ends professionally and personally. With #WomanPower, Mitron invites users to celebrate gender equality and the power of women. Under this hashtag, Mitron has launched an original song that highlights equality and showcases the tremendous influence exerted by a woman.

JSW Group:
JSW Group has joined hands with the curators of Corona Quilt Project DiaMehhtaBhupal& Neha Modi to launch the unique art initiative in Mumbai on International Women’s Day March 8, 2021. The Corona Quilt Project comprises multiple, large-scale quilts made of upcycled material that weave individual experiences of the coronavirus pandemic of more than 12,000 Indians together creatively interpreted on a collective art canvas. The first Corona Quilt will be unveiled at Jindal Mansion in Mumbai followed by 8 other prominent locations across the city. Tarini Jindal Handa at JSW Group has conceived the corona quilt project to be hosted at Jindal Mansion.
This community art Corona Quilt Project is based on the theme “Rise”. It presents a diversity of experiences, celebrating the strength and the resilience of Indian citizens across various social strata. It is a collection of 12,000 individual experiences woven together creatively as a collective expression of the coronavirus pandemic in the form of multiple large-scale creative quilts.
Glad U Came:
To mark International Women’s Day, Glad U Came alongside Open Secret, a Mumbai-based gourmet snack startup celebrates the occasion by launching its #SecretAdmirer campaign. Glad U Came X Open Secret campaign, #SecretAdmirer revolves around women appreciating women who inspired them by their positive spirit. The award-winning PR and Influencer Marketing agency alongside Open Secret aims to create an online space for women showcasing gratitude towards other women. The campaign also focuses on women supporting women by showing them true love, respect, and feeling secure.
Pepperfry x Social Panga:
Pepperfry, furniture and home products marketplace launches a striking new digital video campaign – #WowWomaniya, this international Women’s Day. Through this campaign, the brand aims to celebrate the new-age women who tread on lesser traveled paths and make a mark for themselves in diverse fields. Women across the globe are setting new records. They are fearless, feisty, and unabashed; making and embracing choices that are unconventional. In order to salute and support these women, Pepperfry has collaborated with hip hop and rap artist Deepa Unnikrishnan, famously known as Dee MC, for a rap-based digital campaign. Conceptualized by Social Panga, the digital video showcases women from different fields – a writer, a fitness influencer, and a rapper (Dee MC). The rap song in the background brings alive the grit of these women. For instance, how the writer is making history with her pen; how the fitness influencer is hustling and challenging her physical limits; and how the artist can rap to any beat. Each of them reflecting that a woman’s strength and capabilities are limitless.
WIN: on the occasion of women’s day Win is collaborating with prestigious institutions such as American School and brands such as Kiehls and Gaurav Electricals. The Kiehl’s panel discussion will be held on 4th March at 4 pm with panelists such as SimritaDhillion- founder of Sanda, Kanishka Malhotra-actress, filmmaker, entrepreneur, and influencer, Mansi Srivastava-Indian Television actress and Shikhee Agarwal-AVP, Kielhs along with Stuti Jalan-Founder, Women Inspiring Network.
The Desh ka Gaurav panel discussion on the 2nd of March will consist of Rashi Mal-actor-dancer and singer, Prachi Trehlan-sports person, actor and entrepreneur, Avriti Jain- founder of Dhara and TeotroDhara, NainaRuhail- co-founder of Vanity Wagon along with Stuti Jalan. They are also hosting an Instagram activity called the WIN challenge, where people talk about the women who inspire them. Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network (DWEN) has brought women entrepreneurs together from around the world to help them connect with each other, scale their businesses, and ultimately succeed. Stuti Jalan founder WIN also collaborated with DWEN which helps women entrepreneurs connect with each other from around the world.

Central, along with their agency NDMPL, an established digital and influencer marketing agency, has released an interesting campaign #WomenWearItBetter this Women’s Day. The campaign consists of an immersive web series told through Instagram stories via a fresh Instagram account, Women Wear it Better!
