Brands celebrate Mother’s Day with heartfelt campaigns

Every year we celebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday of May. It’s a celebration honoring the mothers of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in our society. We have always heard people saying that God can’t be with everyone that’s why he has sent Mother, she plays every role in the family, Mother is a beautiful creation of God who loves her children unconditionally and supports them throughout her life. The famous author Agatha Christie once said, “A Mother’s Love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law no pity. It dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in the path”.

To show love towards all the Mother’s Brands have come up with Mother’s Day campaigns,

WIN: On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the WOMEN INSPIRING NETWORK has brought together women from different walks of life who would be discussing their relationships with their mothers. As well as excerpts and anecdotes from their life journey and their triumph with motherhood.

There would be two panel discussions, the first one being “WELLNESS FOR MOM BURN OUT” and the second one is about revolutionizing the world with positivity – #BETHECHANGE

Trell:  The Trell community is coming together to celebrate the spirit of mothers and share their expression of gratitude with millions of Indians across languages.  The platform is also running contests aimed at showcasing the talents of mothers.

Mothers wear several hats simultaneously, such as mentors, teachers, homemakers, breadwinners, financial controllers, chefs, and best friends, among others. Celebrating the special bond each one has with their mothers and honoring the indispensable roles they play in the family as a nurturer, protector, and confidante, Trell, India’s largest lifestyle social commerce platform, is conducting #MomsGotTalent campaign. The week-long campaign from 3rd to 9th May 2021 is aimed at encouraging Trell users to bring to the limelight the myriad of talents their mothers possess.

As part of this campaign, the platform is also running a contest where users will upload their videos that showcase any talents/qualities that their mothers can demonstrate. The video then has to be uploaded on their Trell profiles and personal social media handles tagging @trell.communitywith the #MomsGotTalent. One winner gets an opportunity to be the next big Treller and Top 3 winners get a Trell Shop Gift Hamper.

BIBA: A mother’s love for her children is unconditional and pure, and Mother’s Day is one of those occasions when children want to make the day memorable for their mothers by making them feel extra special. Mother’s Day is fast approaching and if you are still looking for the perfect gift to surprise her on the day, this is a great occasion to gift your mother a stylish & contemporary outfit from the BIBA Spring Summer collection to cherish the special moments. The trend of mother-daughter twinning has become popular lately, and BIBA has various options from its latest collection for women to ace the twinning game with their mothers.

Zee Telugu: Zee Telugu, the most beloved channel of people from the Telugu states has always been at the forefront of providing quality entertainment. To take this up a notch, the channel has planned to make this Mother’s Day truly one of a kind by telecasting ‘Matrudevobhava’ consisting of unique series of performances that viewers can enjoy from their homes this Sunday. The channel will also launch a fresh fiction show ‘OohaluGusagusalade’ on the following day to drive away those Monday blues.

An ode to every mother and mother figure in our lives, Zee Telugu’s Matrudevobhava that goes live on May 9th at 5 pm is packed with extreme entertainment. The queen of dance, Sudha Chandran will be seen performing on the Morning Raga song, Television’s Mega Star Prabhakar will celebrate 22 years of marriage with a power-packed performance along with his family. The real heroes of the society i.e., the first-ever lady mechanic of Telangana Adi Lakshmi and motivational speaker Yamuna Pathak will be felicitated for inspiring all of womanhood. Viewers’ favorites Bhavana and Raja Ravindra recreate the iconic Matrudevobhava song and share special moments of their mothers. Fan favoritesAshika, Aishwarya, Anusha, and Pratap, among others, will be seen entertaining the channel’s ardent viewers.

NIRAMAI Health Analytix: NIRAMAI Health Analytix, on the occasion of Mother’sDay, is hosting a webinar on ‘Frequently Asked Questions by Young Mothers’ on 7th May, Friday at 4 pm. The session will be conducted by Dr. Namrata Nagendra who will address all the health concerns of Mothers.

As Mother’s Day approaches, this year feels different.  In a time of coronavirus, we need more than gifts and a day off.  We need more than traditional self-care. NIRAMAI encourages mothers to make their health a priority and take simple steps to live a safer and healthier life. Mothers of every age can take steps to live a safer and healthier life.

This year, Lionsgate play has come up with the gift of time and plan a movie marathon for her, from the comfort of your home. Whether she’s is in the mood for a comedy-drama or thriller, Lionsgate Play has got her covered.

Vedix: Vedix, India’s first Ayurveda-based customized beauty tech company that perfectly amalgamates the power of AI with analytics has launched the #champitalkswithvedix. The campaign aims to rekindle nostalgia, exploring the beautiful bond between mothers and children. The idea is to bring out beautiful personal stories, anecdotes, and memories to curate a campaign that evokes love, warmth, and pure happiness.
Through this campaign, Vedix wants to positively engage with the audience to uplift the overall spirit. Champi or head massage is quite an intimate bond in Indian homes and also a sure shot way to get rid of stress. Given the current pandemic, everyone is stressed and worried because of the uninterrupted spread of the virus, and working from home while managing the household, it has been a stressful period especially for women.

Oleev: Oleev has returned with a heart-warming digital video campaign #OleevMomWarrior for Mother’s Day, honoring moms for always being a warrior and being the best version of themselves in every situation.

The video starts with a montage of news channel clips and headlines talking about the second wave of the pandemic and lockdown that has been induced upon us. The video slowly fades away into silence, mentioning the number of lockdowns that we’ve been through but also highlighting the fact that ‘No matter how many more lockdowns’, Moms are our warriors at the homefront and have been taking care of us tirelessly and relentlessly.

The campaign showcases the various roles that Moms happily play in their lives, be it managing home or work, being a pillar of support, or even lending a hand for school homework and never showing any sign of defeat. While the video depicts the pure, loving relationship between mothers and their children through various different activities and moments, an emotional melodious song plays in the background making us reminisce the comfort and love we feel with moms being around. The video concludes by expressing gratitude towards the efforts of all mothers.

LG Electronics

LG Electronics, on the occasion of mother’s day, pays homage to mothers who have been a guiding force and beacon of light for their children. Mother’s play a vital role in bring us up, teaching us the ways of life and providing us with meaningful advices along the way. This latest video pays tribute, to the support mothers provide, acting as a pillar of strength for their children.

UTI Mutual Fund :

UTI Mutual Fund rolled out a film that is aimed at the individual retail investor. Developed by hotstuff, the film has tried to communicate the message of how all small daily habits that our mothers inculcate in us since our childhood, which while we are young feel like an enforcement, can actually help one become a responsible and smart investor with the chorus of the song going as “Sahi Baat Mummy Ne Kahi Thi”. The film pays tribute to small pieces of advice, instilled by Mothers in their children which help them become better investors and eventually better human beings in life.

Conceptualised by AutumnGREY, Weikfield’s #MaaIsMoreThanACook campaign highlights how mothers get served judgmental comments if they don’t have great cooking skills, even in this modern age.

Nilon’s:

This Mother’s Day Nilon’s, one of India’s leading processed food company, through a campaign #MaaHaiTohJahanHai highlights those beautiful bonding and pays tribute to every mother’s undying love and all the foods that connect us to them.

It is conceptualized and executed by Ogilvy with an aim to reconnect, relive and acknowledge all those special bonding moments we share with our mother over food.
