On Tuesday morning, Bombay High Court granted bail to former BARC India CEO Partho Dasgupta. Dasgupta was arrested on December 24, 2020 by Mumbai police on charges of tampering the viewership data in violation of his code of conduct.
After hearing the argument by Dasgupta’s advocate Abad Ponda, Justice PD Naik had reserved the order and granted him Bail.
Justice P.D.Naik granted bail to Dasgupta on a personal bond of ₹2 lakh and two solven sureties of the same amount. The court has told Dasgupta that, he has to visit the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police on the first Saturday of every month for six months.
