Commenting on the collaboration, Aman Gupta, Co-Founder, boAt Lifestyle said, “FDCI and Lakmé Fashion Week is the ideal platform for us to partner and showcase our authority when it comes to stylish consumer electronic products. We are extremely excited about launching the boAt x Masaba collection this season. Masaba’s designs are playful, exotic amalgamated with joyous pop colours. We partnered with her as she connects well with our audience and understands boAt’s design philosophy which is displayed in the limited edition collection of headphones. We believe our boAt head community will be truly inspired by the new and refreshing designs”.
Masaba’s collection Summer ‘21’ is inspired by lifestyle and audio brand boat and promises an escape into the time we ate candy all day, had priceless conversations with friends, listened to crazy music, when every day was a celebration and time stood still.
In Masaba-land, the resort wear collection will transport you to another era and where nothing is ever boring. The collection comes with playful florals, exotic animals & revamped versions of Masaba’s iconic motifs amalgamated with joyous pop colours. Driven by comfort, inspired by luxury, resort ’21 is for versatile escapist silhouettes like kaftans, easy-breezy shirts, cover-ups and fusions separate can be worn as sets and separates.
The designer adds a further stylish element to listening to music on the boat range. The limited-edition colourful headphones designed by Masaba will be launched in retail stores simultaneous to the show as part of the collaboration – there are some inspired by Disco, and some for the retro, vintage enthusiast. Prints are also Aztec and tribal for those who have a penchant for rustic charm.
Designer Masaba Gupta said “FDCI and Lakmé Fashion Week are like home to me. Showcasing at the joint Phygital edition is truly special for me and even more so because of our collaboration with boAt. Last season, was the beginning of our journey which will now culminate into the showcase of my latest resort-wear collection. I’ve always believed that ‘music’ and ‘fashion’ are two elements that can transport you to the future and also give you the chance to reminisce the past. My latest range is inspired by and interprets the effect music can have on one’s mood. The one thing that I can promise everyone waiting to see the show is that we will transport you to an era where nothing is ever boring.”
