Mumbai: Volkswagen India has appointed Bishwajeet Samal as its new Head of Marketing & PR. Samal transitions into this role after serving as Global Lead – Campaigns & Media Management at Volkswagen, Germany, where he had been associated since 2020.
Announcing his new position on LinkedIn, Samal shared, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Marketing & PR at Volkswagen India!”
With over 21 years of experience in brand management, media strategy, PR, sponsorship marketing, and digital communication, Samal brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He has spent a significant part of his career at Volkswagen, having worked across international markets. His previous experience also includes roles at Tata Teleservices, FCB Interface, and Star India.
At Volkswagen India, Samal is expected to play a key role in shaping the brand’s marketing strategies, strengthening public relations, and driving innovative campaigns in one of the most dynamic automotive markets.
