Mumbai: The viewership trend of 11th Season of Bigg Boss also proved that the reality property is still a major crowd puller even after nearing a dozenth seasons as the show has managed to conclude as a chart topper like the way it has opened in style with record number.
After capturing the imagination of audiences nationwide with never seen before content encompassing hot tempers, emotional tears and unlimited drama; the 11th season of Colors’ marquee show Bigg Boss concluded on 14th January 2018.
Anchored by mega star Salman Khan, the final episode of the show emerged as the most watched show finale for this year. As per the data released by BARC India for the week 3 of 2018 (January 13-19) the finale episode on Sunday 9pm garnered 10.6 million impression with 3.9 TVRs making it the highest ever viewership for any finale episode of Non-Fiction/Reality show across Hindi GEC in the last one year.
Incidentally, With 10.6 million impressions BiggBoss 11 has concluded in a much better way as the inaugural episode numbers of season aired on Colors on Sunday, 1st October 2017 at 9 to 11:30 PM has garnered 7.89 million impressions.The numbers are pertaining to the TG of BARC 2+ C&S, U+R in Hindi Speaking Market (HSM)
The much talked TED Talk NayiSoch on Star Plus that is hosted by Shah Rukh Khan stands no way near to BiggBoss 11 as the inaugural episode of the TED Talk India NayiSoch aired on Star Plus on Sunday, 10th December 2017 has delivered 1.69 million Impressions only.
Bigg Boss 11 will be replaced by the hilarious sitcom – BelanWaaliBahu on the weekdays starring television diva Krystle D’Souza and writer/producer turned actor DheerajSarna while Rising Star 2 returns to add to the musical quotient on the channel on the weekends with Shankar Mahadevan, DiljitDosanjh and Monali Thakur.
