The televised celebration Chaitra Navaratri of is being aired on Big Magic since 26th march and concluding part will be aired on 2nd April.
Mumbai: BIG Magic is all set to diversify its bouquet of offerings yet again with a festive special ‘Aaj Tera Jagrata Mata’ paying an ode to the festival of Chaitra Navaratri.
Taking its innovative show formats, a notch higher, BIG Magic is engaging its viewers in the festive spirit of Chaitra Navratri with an on-ground activity held on 24th March. The first part of the celebration has already been televised as a dedicated one hour long special episode on the first day i.e 26th March. The concluding part will be aired on the last day, the 2nd of April for its viewers.
Chaitra Navaratri is a largely popular festival in India that’s dedicated to goddess Durga. Spread over 9 days of devotion, the inaugural and concluding days are considered to be auspicious. Keeping this belief system in mind, the on-ground event will be telecasted in two parts on Big Magic at 9pm on the first day of the festival and Ram Navami respectively.
The first episode featured celebrity singers performing devotional songs, thus striking a chord with the audience. Considering the feel of the season, ‘Aaj Tera Jagrata Mata’ showcased live dance acts based on ‘Mahisasaur Mardini’, ‘Viashna Devi Katha’, and ‘Ram Katha’.
The second episode will revolve around a special reference to Ram Navami. Along with the spectacular performances by well-known singers, it will also appeal to audience with two dance performances based on ‘Ram and Vaishna Devi Katha’ by kids.
Renowned television personality Neha Marda is hosting the event. Popular singer Jaspinder Narula will be joined on stage by singers Sonia Sharma, Tripti Sakya, Prateek Raj, and Tanu from Voice India, thus increasing the mass appeal.
Strengthening its positioning, the channel is targeting a wide range of viewers with this exclusive program.
