Mumbai: Reliance Broadcast Network’s (RBNL) regional entertainment channel BIG Ganga gears up to launch ‘Baal Krishna’ in Bhojpuri. The mythological show has been successfully launched and is currently running on BIG Magic in Hindi.
Baal Krishna in Bhojpuri will premiere April 25th onwards, every Monday to Friday at 7.30 PM on BIG Ganga. ‘Baal Krishna’ will delve into the observations and divine life of Lord Krishna’s childhood, from his perspective.
Produced by Swastik Productions – the makers of Mahabharat and Suryaputra Karn, Baal Krishna, the show will take viewers back to the grandeur and royalty of Dwapar Yug, bringing age-old stories back to life.
BIG Ganga’s programming strategy is built on local insights with a deep cultural connect and has shows pegged on devotion and festivities. BIG Ganga audience will now get a chance to watch another mythological show in Bhojpuri, in addition to Devo Ke Dev Mahadev.
Viewers will get a chance to witness Lord Krishna’s journey starting from his ‘Natkhat’ childhood, and be subjected to bouts of logical reasoning behind why he did what he did. From picking up the Govardhan Parvat to Killing Putna, Lord Krishna’s narrations will offer a whole new perspective by touching upon various known and lesser known stories from his life.
