Mumbai: Big FM is celebrating the legendary Kishore Kumar’s birthday by recreating the magic of his live concerts on ‘BIG Time Machine.’ Listeners can tune into the unique live concert throughout the day across all its shows,starting from 31st July 2017, leading up to his 88th birth anniversary on 4th August. His evergreen music will play across 92.7 BIG FM’s Hindi speaking markets and across time bands for the complete week.
Kishore Da’s soulful music and melodious voice cuts across generations. In a first-of-its-kind show – ‘BIG Time Machine,’ the radio network is bringing the best compilation of the renowned singer’s live concerts. Through the show, listeners will travel back in time to re-live the moments created by his compelling voice. This will be the first time ever that a radio network is bringing the late singer’s music in such a format. The week-long celebration, in the memory of the legend, will also witness integration of his songs and new activities.
The day will begin with ‘MastiBhara Kishore’ from 8 am to 9 am where audiences will tune into unplugged Kishore Kumar songs sung by various singers. The afternoon show, from 1 pm to 2 pm, will include an exciting Antakshari competition between callers where they have to sing Kishore Da’s songs. During the evening time-band, audiences will hear more about the celebrated singer’s life from his family and friends followed by his live concert on ‘Big Time Machine.’ The day will conclude with Kishore Kumar’s most contemplative and emotional songs.
