Mumbai: Big FM radio network is all set to launch ‘Big Heroes’ – A show that will celebrate the true spirit of the ordinary man for his contribution towards the society. It aims to highlight the efforts of unsung heroes who combined their desire and belief to bring about a change. Method actors, Manoj Bajpai, Jimmy Shergill who have themselves portrayed characters inspired from real life incidents and popular television actor Vishal Singh, supported the show’s much celebrated theme that reflects the real life stories of true ‘BIG Heroes’ of the nation.
The show to launch its 1st episode on 7th May will air as a morning show from 9 am – 10 am with RJ Richa Anirudh, every Saturday in 35 markets of the radio network.
The launch of this show witnessed the cast of the movie Traffic, namely Manoj Bajpai, Jimmy Shergill, popular television actor and film debutant Vishal Singh along with RJ Richa Anirudh, felicitate the real life traffic policemen Amit Manikrao Gaikwad – Kurla, Vishwas Kashinath Bhoir and Ramakant Manohar Badgujar – BKC on whose characters the movie is based. During the event RJ Richa Anirudh, Manoj Bajpai, Jimmy Shergill and Vishal Singh introduced the traffic constables as the real unsung heroes of this country.
The show shares the same concept and the message as the movie. The concept of the film and the new show blends perfectly to highlight what goes behind the making of a real hero.
Big Heroes will take listeners through the unheard and inspiring stories of the common man; ones who went out of their way to help individuals, communities and regions. It is their selfless act through which they raised a voice to bring around a noticeable change rather than asking for it.
The show revolves around the true incidents of the ordinary men and women from various fields like health, education, welfare, sports and environment who has bestowed upon them the title of ‘BIG Heroes’ by fighting all odds to make their voices heard and become the change makers of the society. By delving deeper into their lives, their passion and determination, the show aims to reflect the enduring spirit in the minds of its listeners and inspire them.
