Listners across 9 retro markets can nominate, vote and select the winners of ‘Hit Thhe Hit Rahenge Awards’
Mumbai: Big FM has announced the first ever on-air radio film awards- ‘Hit Thhe Hit Rahenge Awards’ to commemorate the golden era of Indian cinema by acknowledging the evergreen films and iconic stars of the time.
Listeners can vote across categories, namely, Best Music Director, Best Song, Best Comedian, Best Villain, Best Heroine, Best playback singer Female, Best Film Director, Best Playback Singer Male, Best Film and Best Hero across Big FM’s 9 retro markets including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and other stations in MP and Gujarat.
Based on a novel concept that compliments the station’s individuality and tonality, the awards capture the essence behind ‘Hit Thhe Hit Rahenge’, thereby fortifying the strong brand connect that the radio network shares with its audiences.
Big FM will engage listeners on air by giving them the opportunity to nominate, vote, select and recognize their all time favorite movies and performers across multiple categories. Listeners can then cast their votes through SMS, Whatsapp and social media platforms.

Started of 20th February the award is slated to transpire across five weeks, 2 award categories will be announced every Monday and Tuesday, giving listeners 10 options to choose and vote throughout the week. Winners across these two categories will be announced every Saturday.
