The Advertising Club Bangalore’s Big Bang Awards 2023 lit up the city last night, celebrating the very best in creative, design, media and digital work from across the country.
The evening saw The Ayaz Peerbhoy Award for the Creative Agency of the Year go to Plainspeak. V- ROK Communications were crowned Health Care Agency of the Year, Origami Creative was named Design Agency of the Year and Wavemaker bagged both Digital and Media Agency of the Year titles. Mondelez India emerged victorious as Client of the Year. Gopika won the Young Writer of the Year award.
“We were overwhelmed by the response and there was a surge in participation this year. We received an astounding over 400 entries from 42 agencies and 109 clients across 13 cities and 9 states,” shared Laeeq Ali, President of The Advertising Club Bangalore. “The Awards included regional languages as well, leading to a showcase of exceptional work and exemplifying diversity of the advertising industry.”
Malavika Harita, Chairperson of Big Bang Awards, said, “I have been involved with the Big Bang Awards for the last 20 odd years. As the industry evolves, this association remains an indispensable compass, navigating through the sea of creativity to honor the visionaries who leave an indelible mark on the ever-shifting canvas of advertising.”
The Awards was held at Mukta Outdoor, Chamara Vajra, Jayamahal Palace on January 19, 2024.
The Platinum Sponsors for the Big Bang Awards this year were Jio Cinema and Sports 18, Gold Tally Solutions and Cycle Agarbathi Preferential Pouring Partners were Big Banyan, Roulette, Fireball and Kingfisher Ultra, while Coca Cola and Schweppes were the Beverage Partners.
