Mumbai : The Indian cricket board has put out an invitation to tender document for title sponsorship of the board’s home series, both international and domestic for the period 2015 to 2019 seasons.
Consumer electronics giants Micromax Informatics Ltd had won the title sponsorship rights for international and domestic tournaments to be played in India for a fee of slightly over Rs.18 crore last year.
The title sponsorship of cricket series between 2015-2019 rights on offer include sponsor branding of the series with the title sponsor logo, official designation as the “Title Sponsor” of the international or domestic series, visibility at the stadium during both international and domestic matches, broadcast sponsorship rights, and a host of other rights, Anurag Thakur, secretary for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a statement.
“The ITT document will be available at the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm (between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturdays and excluding Sundays) from Monday, 22 June 2015 until Tuesday, 28 July 2015, at a cost of INR 2,00,000/- (non-refundable and non-adjustable), to be paid vide a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a statement.
“The ITT document will be available at the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm (between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on Saturdays and excluding Sundays) from Monday, 22 June 2015 until Tuesday, 28 July 2015, at a cost of INR 2,00,000/- (non-refundable and non-adjustable), to be paid vide a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Board of Control for Cricket in India,” payable at Mumbai or Chennai (“Tender Fee”),” he said.
“Only parties that will purchase the ITT Document (or belonging to the same group of companies on whose behalf the ITT Document is purchased) will be entitled to participate in the tender process for title sponsorship of cricket series between 2015-2019 ,” he added.
