BBC Studios has inked two deals with Dhiraagu TV and Medianet that sees CBeebies on both IPTV and Cable TV platforms in the Maldives.
DhiraaguPLC, is the first and only provider of wide-scale residential IPTV/OTT-TV in the Maldives. DhiraaguTV offers television content via its fixed broadband connection for homes and using mobile network for its customers. Medianet is the largest pay-tv broadcaster in the Maldives.
The channel launched on July 15 on Dhiraagu TV and will launch on September 1 on Medianet.
With these deals, subscribers to Dhiraagu TV and Medianet will have access to award-winning CBeebies content including Hey Duggee, Go, Sarah& Duck.

CBeebies is BBC’s international channel that is advert-free and wholly owned by BBC Studios.
Aimed at children aged six years and under, CBeebies provides a range of pre-school programming designed to encourage learning through play in a consistently safe environment.
Besides the Maldives, CBeebies in Asia is also available in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea and Singapore.
