UP Yoddha is the new team in Pro Kabaddi League Season 5. Bang in the middle will be responsible for the launch and creating fandom across communication mediums.
Mumbai: The Pro Kabaddi League (officially known as the Vivo Pro Kabaddi for sponsorship reasons) is a franchise-based professional kabaddi league in India, consisting of 12 teams. PKL in its fifth edition will kick-start from July 28 and the final is slated to be played on October 28. The league will be broadcasted on Star sports. Until the previous season, there were eight teams. But the fifth season will see four new teams — Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu — contesting in the race to win the title.
Bang in the Middle has been awarded the creative and digital mandate of UP Yoddha, team in Pro Kabaddi league. The team is a part of GMR sports. This is the first ever season for the Yoddha’s. The agency has already started working on the account and a campaign announcing the team on various social platforms and their website.
The agency has a task of further build an image for UP Yoddha as a team in PKL. UP Yoddha being the late entrant have a tough competition to play against teams like Patna pirates, pink panthers, U Mumba’s and others, who have already created their fandom and have been in the league from the very first season.
