Mumbai: Axis Finance Limited (AFL), one of India’s rapidly growing non-banking financial companies, has appointed Sai Giridhar as the Managing Director & CEO ‘designate,’ pending regulatory approval.
Bipin Saraf, who has served as MD & CEO since 2013 after starting his career at Axis Bank in 2003, will transition back to Axis Bank to lead Bharat Banking. This change will take place following regulatory approval.
Sai Giridhar brings over 28 years of banking experience, having held leadership roles in several top private sector banks. He has a strong track record in strategy execution for various business areas, with expertise in managing end-to-end P&L and driving growth in consumer lending. His contributions have included advancements in consumer risk management, debt management, and initiatives focused on innovation, digitization, and customer-centric solutions.
