At Enrich we like to ensure that we ‘never waste a crisis’. This is because every crisis creates obstacles in the way we have been operating but the new set of rules also makes some things possible/ easier that were earlier impossible / very difficult.
Consequently, we believe this is an opportunity for our industry – the beauty & grooming services & products industry – to be truly omni channel… something that we either believed was less possible or that we were not focussed on doing
Following this our main points of focus are as follows – that will help us further safeguard our position with Customers as well as our bottom-line for the coming year-2021.
Focus Services as well as Retail Products:
As a salon chain we were predominantly about services and products comprised only about one fourth of our services revenue. We are setting up to increase focus significantly on product sale as well as it allows us to optimize revenue and realizations. With this we have now strengthened our online play as well with our website and mobile app which also includes retail aftercare products apart from services and appointment booking.
Focus on offline as online:
We traditionally operating from salons. With current situation where internet is at the forefront of our daily lives, we have now boosted our online presences with information and bookings on our website and mobile app.
Focus on Home and Out of Home Services:
We are already focussed on delivering services at our salon. Now even the home salon service is a part of the mainstream offerings of our brand, where therapists from Enrich salons in the catchment would render the expert services. To showcase the convenience and safety of services in the comfort of one’s home we have also communicated extensively with our Consumer. With Enrich coming home the objective is to provide the services to the customers in an environment of their choice, where they feel safe and comfortable and we are doing everything to make it better.
Focus on touch as well as Tech:
We are already focussed on personal touch to deliver our services and products. We now need to adapt to using new technology to our advantage, be it our ERP, Customer & Technician Mobile Apps, a user friendly website and a significant ecommerce presence.
Focus on People and processes:
People are the central element of any organisation. At Enrich we are very strong in processes, but any change within the organisation is driven by people and if we want to effectively deliver on the four points above, our team needs to own the change and drive it. At the end it falls to people within an organisation to execute these plans and processes to make it successful.
If anything, the crisis has underlined is the importance of our strong culture and we will strengthen it further by increasing our investment in our people.
