Ashirvad by Aliaxis, a pipes and fittings brand, has announced the appointment of Partha Basu as Managing Director. This decision was made public by Aliaxis’ headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Basu, who has served as the acting divisional CEO for India, will now oversee the Bengaluru-based company’s workforce of 5,000 employees. His vast experience in leadership, finance, supply chain, and business transformation positions him well to guide the company in one of the fastest-growing markets for infrastructure and construction solutions.
Thierry Vanlancker, Managing Director of Aliaxis, praised Basu’s contributions, stating, “Partha Basu has played an instrumental role since joining Aliaxis in 2023. His leadership has been key in strengthening the India division, enhancing governance, and driving profitable growth.”

Basu brings over 30 years of experience, having held leadership positions at AkzoNobel, Coca-Cola, and KPMG. His expertise in business transformation has been evident through successful initiatives at Whirlpool and SpiceJet. He is a CMA, DBF, and certified professional coach, with an executive certificate in General Management from IIM Calcutta.
