Publicis has awarded a four-year extension for Arthur Sadoun as Chairman President and CEO of Publicis Groupe.
Four-year extensions were also given to board members Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner, Secretary General, and Michel-Alain Proch, CFO.
Subsequent to four-year extension in Publicis leadership offices, Sadoun also announced his pick of four new executive leadership appointments. Carla Serrano named Chief Strategy Officer Publicis Groupe, while Dave Penski got the role of CEO, Publicis Media US.
Nigel Vaz will lead Publicis Sapient as CEO and Agathe Bousquet’s remit – President Publicis Groupe France.
Current CEO of Publicis Groupe North Asia, Jane Lin-Baden, has been appointed CEO for the Asia-Pacific region, including South Asia, Australia/ New Zealand and South-East Asia to her responsibilities. As a member of the Management Committee, Lin-Baden will report directly to Arthur Sadoun.
Loris Nold previously CEO of Publicis Groupe APAC/MEA, has been appointed to the newly-created role of CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), tasked with overseeing all European operations and markets while continuing to supervise the Middle East and Africa, and continue to report directly to Arthur Sadoun.

It was additionally announced that Chief Operating Officer, who has held the position since 2019, will take the newly created role as chairman of Publicis Groupe Europe.
“The Supervisory Board would like to express to Arthur Sadoun its great satisfaction with the exceptional performance of the Groupe in recent years,” said Maurice Lévy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. “The results achieved after bold moves such as the creation of the Marcel platform, the repositioning of Publicis Sapient and the acquisition and successful integration of Epsilon command admiration.”
Sadoun succeeded Maurice Lévy, the current chair of the supervisory board, in January 2017.
