Arghya Roy Chowdhury has decided to bid adieu to Zee Media as Head – Sales (WION). In this role, he is responsible for generating topline revenue, growth, brand solutions and partnerships. He has been associated with Zee Entertainment since 2005.
Revealing the decision on his Linkedin handle, Chowdhury shared, “As I bite my medal and bid farewell to this chapter of my career with Zee, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with appreciation for the extraordinary people I had the privilege to work with. Gratitude for all my senior colleagues, their mentorship has been invaluable to my professional development. I am grateful for the time you’ve invested in helping me become a better version of myself.”

Prior to Zee Media, Chowdhury worked for Zee Entertainment for more than 18 years. He played various leading roles in business and sales. Before this, he associated with E-TV network as Senior Executive Advertisement Sales between 2003 and 2005. Previous to this, Chowdhury served for Dimples Cine Advertising as Executive Advertisement Sales for a short period in 2003.
Prior to his tenure with Dimples Cine Advertising, Chowdhury positioned as Client Services Executive at Hertz from 2000 to 2001. He also started his career as Business Development Executive at Analytic Consultant since 1999.
With over 20+ years of experience, Chowdhury has a proven track record of working in media, news and entertainment industry. He has expertise in Business Strategies, Ad Sales & Business Development, P&L Management, Content Creation, Marketing & Communication Strategy and Digital Marketing.
