Mumbai: In a notable leadership change at Ola Electric, Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer (CMO) Anshul Khandelwal has stepped down from his role.
Khandelwal, who joined Ola in 2018 as Head of Marketing and Revenue for Foodpanda—an entity acquired by Ola in 2017—played a key role in shaping the company’s marketing and revenue strategies.
Khandelwal’s departure marks another significant exit in Ola Electric’s top management, following the resignation of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Suvonil Chatterjee. Chatterjee, who was instrumental in driving Ola’s tech innovation, also tendered his resignation, according to media reports.
Khandelwal brings over a decade of diverse experience in marketing and business strategy, spanning e-commerce, education, and healthcare sectors. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K), Khandelwal previously held leadership roles at organizations such as LBB, UpGrad, Mahindra & Mahindra, and BlueStone.com, before joining Ola.
The departure of two top-level executives underscores ongoing changes within Ola Electric, a company that has been rapidly scaling its operations in the electric vehicle space. The reasons for these exits remain undisclosed, but they reflect a year of considerable churn in the company’s leadership.
