Mumbai: Airbus has appointed Annapurna Vishwanathan as Vice President, Head of Information Management & Digital for India & South Asia. With nearly two decades of experience in technology management and digital transformation, she will play a pivotal role in driving Airbus’s digital vision and strengthening its IT and digital strategy in the region.
Prior to joining Airbus, Vishwanathan served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Cummins India, where she led IT strategy development and implementation, ensuring enhanced business outcomes through digital initiatives. Sharing her excitement about the new role, she stated in a LinkedIn post, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as VP, Head of IM & Digital, India and South Asia at Airbus.”
Vishwanathan brings 15 years of experience across leading organizations, including Coca-Cola, GE, and Atos Origin. She previously served as Head of Digital at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd., where she was responsible for defining and executing digital strategies across manufacturing, logistics, commercial, and sales functions.
She also spent 11.5 years at GE, gaining extensive experience across multiple technology domains such as product development, ERP, IT infrastructure, security, applications, and M&A across seven industry verticals in the U.S., Europe, and South Asia.
