New Delhi: Animal Planet launches a brand new edition of YehMera India, the popular anthology featuring the best of India’s rich diversity of flora and fauna. Starting August 14, every night at 9 PM, the month-long anthology will travel across India’s most stunning national parks, nature reserves and bio-diverse regions to discover it’s rich and varied wildlife.
Animal Planet also plans to reach out to the youth and family towards the Indian wildlife through ananthem and music video, the anthem is composed by noted Bollywood music director Ram Sampath. Sung by Ram Sampath himself as well as SonaMohapatra, rappers Divine and EnKore, the multi-lingual track is a soulful melody featuring behind the scenes footage from the making of the anthem.
The song “Befikarhainazaare…” inspires viewers to come along, connect with the wild kingdom and go on an exhilarating journey through India. The anthem aims to capture the essence of India’s bio-diversity through its music and lyrics. Reminding viewers of nature’s beauty and amazing wildlife, YehMera Indiaseeks the current generation to be the change agents for a better tomorrow.

Beginning its journey on August 14 at 9 PM, YehMera India will also feature the premieres of three new series – Rhino Tales, Living with Elephants and Four Deadliest Snakes of India.
In its sixth year, Animal Planet’s annual programming initiative YehMera India takes viewers on an immersive journey across India exploring its iconic wildlife, mystical locations, epic landscapes and colourful beauty. From Kaziranga to Manas and Jawai to Ranthambore, the new season of YehMera India focuses on the biodiversity of different regions and extraordinary wildlife that thrives in it.
