Trivandrum: Malayalam GEC Amrita TV has launched a finite fantasy fiction series ‘Kumara Sambhavam’ and Non fiction property ‘Comedy Masala’ to amp up its prime time offering.
‘Kumara Sambhavam’ is a finite series planned for 250 episodes and it was launching on April 16th 2018 and it will go on till 29th March 2019.
The story revolves around lord Shiva and Parvati. Parvati wants to marry Shiva but faces several hurdles. How Parvati marries lord Shiva facing all the consequences forms the climax of this devotional serial.
Kumārasaṃbhavam is an epic poem by Kālidāsa, which is widely regarded as one of Kālidāsa’s finest works. It literally means “Birth of Kumāra – the Lord Muruga aka Subramanya”
Amrita TV has slotted the show in early Prime Time at 7 to 7:30 PM time band to attract both Rural and Urban audience. It will be aired on every Monday to Friday.
The Channel has added Comedy Masala, a Non-fiction property with Comedians from the industry competing with each other. ’Comedy Super Night’ fame Aswathy is the anchor of the show. The show comprises of artists like Nobi, Nelson etc. Freshers can also perform in this show.
Comedy Masala has also started on 16th April on it will be on-air till 13th August 2018, airs every Monday to Friday from 8 PMto 9 PM. The show has been planned for 65 episodes.
