Trivandrum: Malayalam Entertainment Channel, Amrita TV, is in the process of revamping its content line-up with the launch some of the big ticket shows in the near future, which includes a Mega Show in association with Super Star Mohan Lal.
As a pre laude to its plan of beefing up its Programming line-up Amirta TV has went ahead and acquired three big title movies in the recent past. The three titles acquired are likely for premiering during the upcoming season of Onam 2017 that starts on Monday, 4th September onwards.
Amirta TV has the satellite rights of 1971 Beyond Borders, Angamaly Diaries and Ezra.
1971 Beyond Borders was written and directed by Major ravi starring Mohanlal, Arunoday Singh, AlluSirish ,RenjiPanicker, SudheerKaramana, Devan,AshaSarath, PriyankaAgrawal and SrushtiDange.
Ezra – Is a malayalam horror film starring prithvirajsukumaran in lead role. Jay K is the director and writer of ezra. Tovino Thomas, PriyaAnand, Sudev Nair, Babu Antony, Sujith Shankar, Vijayaraghavan, Ann Sheethal are the other star cast of Ezra.
Angamaly Diaries was one of the Super Hit movies of Malayalam industry in the recent past. It was written by actor chembvanvinodjose and directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Antony Varghese, ReshmaRajan, KichuTellus, Ullas Jose Chemban, VineethVishwam, Bitto Davis, Tito Wilson, Sarath Kumar, and Sinoj Varghese played lead roles.
Amrita TV is likely to schedule all the above movies for this Onam season.
