Amita Maheshwari, Head HR – APAC & India, at Disney Star has moved on from the company after a stint of over 13 years of service.
Reportedly, Maheshwari will be joining Kedaara Capital as Operating Director- HR.
“What an emotional day it has been today. After 13.5 years of Star and Disney, we announced my move from the company. It was heartwarming to hear things from my colleagues and team say that it’s a personal loss. I always believe that the biggest thing we earn in an organization is relationships. Being selected by #UdayShankar in April 2009 to Head HR for Star and given APAC role when #Disney acquiring us has been a great honor and privilege,” Maheswari’s LinkedIn post read.
“From just an entertainment business to adding #StarSports, launching #hotstar and then leading integration and transition to Disney. across APAC and India, launch of #disneyplushotstar and #Disney + in 11 markets in APAC have been incredible learning experience,” read the post.
