New Delhi: Amit Khare, a senior IAS officer has been appointed as the Secretary Information & Broadcasting, Government of India. He will take over the charge from NK Sinha who is currently holding the post. Amit Khare will be in the seats following NK Sinha’s retirement on May 31.
Amit Khare, is an Indian Administrative Service Officer of 1985 batch and is an incumbent in his cadre state Jharkhand. He is a BSc Physics graduate and an alumni of IIM Ahmedabad, from where he has done his MBA.
Apparently, the appointment of Amit Khare as the Secretary Information & Broadcasting, comes as a part of the political reshuffle taking place in government cabinet that has been implemented recently.
