Mumbai: Amit Doshi has officially stepped down as the Chief Marketing Officer of Britannia Industries Limited, resigning from his role on January 31, 2025. As CMO, Doshi played a pivotal role in shaping Britannia’s marketing strategies and business growth, overseeing the Biscuits, Crème Wafers, and Salty Snacks divisions.
During his tenure, Doshi was instrumental in driving sustainable and profitable growth, enhancing brand equity, expanding market penetration, and leading innovation in Britannia’s product roadmap. His strategic initiatives contributed to market share growth and improved operating income for the company.
Acknowledging Doshi’s contributions, Rajneet Kohli, CEO & Executive Director of Britannia Industries, stated, “We are grateful for Amit’s outstanding leadership and significant contributions to Britannia. This was Doshi’s second tenure at Britannia, having previously spent nearly nine years in various marketing, sales, and product roles. Before rejoining Britannia, he held key leadership positions at Lenovo. His career began at Perfetti Van Melle India, where he started as an area sales manager in Bengaluru after completing his management trainee program.
As Britannia moves forward, the company is expected to announce a successor to continue its strategic marketing initiatives in the competitive FMCG space.
