In Q4 ’22, Google Search, Meta, and Amazon all saw an increase in advertising revenue compared to the previous quarter (Q3’22).
According to a report by App Economy Insights, Google Search remained in the top spot for revenue in both quarters, with Meta and Amazon following behind.
Google Search’s ad revenue rose from $39.5 bn in Q3’22 to $42.6 bn in Q4’22, representing a percentage increase of 7.8pc. Meta’s ad revenue grew from $27.5 bn in Q3’22 to $31.3 bn in Q4’22, showing a percentage increase of 13.8pc. Amazon’s ad revenue increased from $9.5 bn in Q3’22 to $11.6 bn in Q4’22, representing a percentage increase of 22.1pc.
While Google and Meta’s Q4’22 ad revenue showed a 4pc decline compared to Q4’21, Amazon’s Q4’22 ad revenue increased by 19pc compared to the same period in the previous year.
