Mumbai: Amazon Prime Video today announced the digital premiere of Edward Norton’s Motherless Brooklyn, a film based on the prize-winning novel of the same name by Jonathan Lethem. The film chronicles the life of an outlandish detective post his friend’s death and stars Bruce Willis, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Bobby Cannavale, Cherry Jones, Alec Baldwin and Willem Dafoe. Prime members in India can watch Motherless Brooklyn on Amazon Prime Video starting 26th June.
Set against the backdrop of 1950s New York, Motherless Brooklyn follows Lionel Essrog, a lonely private detective afflicted with Tourette’s Syndrome, as he ventures to solve his friend’s murder. Armed only with a few clues and the powerful engine of his obsessive mind, Lionel unravels closely-guarded secrets that hold the fate of the whole city in the balance.
Motherless Brooklyn will join the thousands of TV shows and movies from Hollywood and Bollywood in the Prime Video catalog.
