Vineet Nair has joined Amazon India as the new Head of Media.
Nair announced the move in a LinkedIn post, “Excited to share that I have joined Amazon India as Media Head. It’s been a week now and everyone has been so welcoming. As I return to this organization, I am looking forward to continue working with an amazing set of people and #workhardhavefunmakehistory again”
Prior to this, he was Vice President at Mindshare, where he was in charge of the Client Services division and vertical for leadership and planning, Mindshare Fulcrum, which handles the media duties (offline and digital) for Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL).
This is his second stint with Amazon India, Nair held the position of Senior Media Manager during 2019-2020, where he led media planning and buying for Amazon. He handled long-term media strategy and day-to-day deployment for Amazon.in and new engagement platforms like Prime (Video and Retail), Digital Payment solutions, Fashion and Grocery.
Nair started off his career with Lodestar Universal as Senior Media Planner. He handled global beauty company – L’Oréal which included Loreal Paris, Maybelline, and Garnier Skin and Garnier Men which accounted to ~50% of overall media investments.
