Mumbai: Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has announced the appointment of Chandra Prakash Suryawanshi as Managing Director within its Disputes and Investigations practice. In this new role, Suryawanshi will lead A&M’s Global Cyber Risk Services (GCRS) in India. This strategic appointment underscores A&M’s commitment to enhancing its capabilities in cyber risk advisory, cyber resilience, and cyber incident response.
With over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and risk management, Mr. Suryawanshi has a deep specialization in cyber strategy, risk assessments, data protection, and incident response. He has successfully led large-scale cyber transformation programs and provided advisory services to prominent clients in sectors including financial services, life sciences, technology, media, and telecommunications across global markets, including the US, UK, Germany, the Middle East, and India.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Suryawanshi was a Partner and National Co-Leader for the Cyber Defence and Incident Response Practice at KPMG India. He holds an Executive MBA from the Manipal Institute of Management and an ADP certification from Wharton Business School.
