Mumbai: Pepperfry welcomes back Alok Varman as Head of Supply Chain to fortify its position in the furniture and home decor market. Alok’s role involves enhancing the supply chain to optimize customer experience. His expertise and track record are key drivers for Pepperfry’s growth strategy and seamless customer service.
With over 23 years of experience in strategic business management, supply chain, omnichannel business, and customer experience in sectors like retail and e-commerce, Alok has played a crucial role in Pepperfry’s growth. He was instrumental in developing the brand’s logistics and warehouses. During his time with Pepperfry, he spearheaded the expansion of the experience stores as part of the omnichannel approach.
Before rejoining Pepperfry, Alok was the COO at Isho.com, a D2C eCommerce furniture startup in Bangladesh, where he improved customer experiences and introduced the brand to the Indian market. He also served as VP at Wydr.in, Senior Manager at Carnation Auto India, and Manager at Guthy-Renker LLC.
