Advertising Club Madras kicks off 27th PGDA Program with Scholarships and Industry-Leading Tutors

New batch with over 25 students of Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising (PGDA) Program for aspiring advertising professionals started on 14th December 2024.

Chennai: The Advertising Club Madras has successfully launched its 27th Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising (PGDA) program on Saturday, 14th December 2024, reinforcing its commitment to shaping the next generation of advertising professionals. The inauguration ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including Balasubramanian S., President of Advertising Club Madras; Kavitha Srinivasan, Joint Secretary & Chair – PGDA Sub-committee; Rakesh, Executive Committee Member; and Jagannath Ramasamy, Past President of Ad Club Madras and Tutor of the program.

The PGDA program, a flagship initiative of the club, spans 75 hours and offers a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience across various facets of advertising, media, and creativity. This year, more than 25 students have enrolled, with several deserving candidates receiving scholarships, making the program more accessible to a diverse pool of talent. The program will be conducted at the state of the art smart class room located at the Advertising Club Madras.

Balasubramanian S., President of Advertising Club Madras, expressed pride in the program’s legacy and its impact on the advertising community. “This program continues to inspire and shape the next generation of advertising professionals. We are also proud to offer scholarships this year, making the program accessible to a wider group of deserving candidates,” he said.

Kavitha Srinivasan, Chair of the PGDA Sub-committee, emphasized the program’s alignment with the Advertising Club’s core mission of fostering knowledge and creativity. “The overwhelming response from this year’s batch is a testament to the growing demand for specialized training in advertising and media. We are excited to see these students embark on their journey towards professional success,” she remarked.

The PGDA program, known for its evolving curriculum, aims to equip students with the latest trends and innovations in the dynamic advertising landscape. The program also fosters networking opportunities with top industry leaders, giving students a competitive edge in the advertising world.

The program is being taught by a distinguished panel of industry experts, including K. Anbu Chezhian (Consultant, Blue Noodles), Dr. Anuradha Prashant (Independent Trainer), Ashok R. Sankethi (Founder, Kaybase), Baatul Turab (Founder & Creative Director, The Raven Claw), Balasubramanian T (Creative Director, Kreasense Branding Solutions), Chocka (Co-Founder & Director, OPN Advertising Pvt Ltd.), Jagannath Ramaswamy (Chief Mentor, Crystal), K. S. Manikandan (Director), Dr. Narayanan (President, Printers Forum, India), L.V. Navaneeth (CEO, The Hindu Group), Poornima Bhaskaran (Director, Kaybase), Ramkumar Singaram (Founder & Director, Catalyst Public Relations Pvt Ltd), Ramkumar (Cinematographer, Photographer, Founder – Ravantage), P. Subramanian (Vice President, OTS), Surej Salim Kumar (Co-Founder & CEO, Digitally Inspired Media), Surendar (Creative Director), Shree Prakash P (Founder – Feswa), and P. Udhay Kumar (GM-Brand Marketing, Star Health Insurance).

This launch marks another significant milestone for the Advertising Club Madras, further strengthening its role as a leading educational and professional hub for the advertising community.
