Adityan Kayalakal, Sr Director – Brand & Creative Strategy, Byju’s has moved on from the company to join a stealth startup as Sr Vice President – Brand Marketing.
In his new assignment at the yet to be launched startup, Kayalakal will head the brand marketing and will be responsible for crafting the tone, the look and the feel of the brand and product across every key touch point.
Kayalakal has disclosed some information about the startup on LinkedIn, stating, “The company is an early stage consumer technology startup with a team comprising of professionals who have spent years in building for India and the world. They truly understand the pain points of users in Bharat, and are committed to the challenge of creating a truly revoltionary product for mass use. The company is backed by blue-chip VC’s globally and in India, as well as multiple reputed angels from around the world.”
Prior to his stint at Byju’s, Kayalakal held the role of Director – Global Content & Media Distribution at Director – Global Content & Media Distribution.
Throughout his 17-year career, Kayalakal has worked for Publicis Groupe (Publicis Emil, Digitas India & BBH), WPP group (Grey Group AMEA, Bates CHI&Partners), Rediffusion Y&R, to name a few.
