Mumbai: In a groundbreaking moment for Indian cricket, adidas, the official kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team, has unveiled the new ODI jersey for both the Men’s and Women’s Cricket Teams. This marks the second year of adidas’ partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and for the first time in history, the jersey was revealed alongside the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, underscoring the brand’s commitment to empowering women in sports.
The new jersey features a striking true-blue color body with tricolour ombre sleeves, a bold design celebrating India’s national pride and spirit. The jersey will make its debut on-field during the India versus West Indies bilateral series, which begins on December 22, 2024, with the Women’s Cricket Team. The India Men’s Cricket Team will then wear the jersey during the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy tournament in early 2025.
For the first time ever, the Indian Women’s Cricket Team has been part of the launch event, reinforcing adidas’ ongoing support for women in sports. The unveiling, which took place at the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai, was a landmark event that celebrates the evolution of women’s cricket in India.

The jacquard base fabric features a terry loop pattern, ensuring comfort during long matches, while Climacool+ technology aids in rapid sweat absorption. The jersey’s cut & sew details enhance durability, and for the first time, it is made with 100% recycled material, reflecting adidas’ commitment to sustainability.
