Pratap Bose, co-founder of marketing communication agency The Social Street, has passed away in Gurgaon.
According to media reports, Bose was diagnosed with a major illness three months ago, and his condition worsened recently, leading to his demise early this morning. He is survived by his wife and two children.
After concluding his 17-year tenure at Ogilvy & Mather India, Bose went on to become the COO of DDB Mudra Group, where he worked for six years before co-founding The Social Street in 2015. He then stepped down from his position in 2020 and worked as an advertising and marketing consultant for the last three and half years.
Bose also served as the President of The Advertising Club from 2014 – 2016, Jury Member of Cannes Lions in 2012 & 2016, Jury Member Spikes Asia in 2013 and GroupM Board Member from 2006-2008. His working career spans across geographies in India, Asia and Eastern Europe.
The industry mourned the loss of ad veteran on social media platforms, with heartfelt posts recalling old memories.
