Mumbai: GroupM has appointed Abhishek Chandran as its National Head – Creative Services & Social Analytics. Chandran, who previously held the position of WW Advocacy (National Head – Product & Business) at Wavemaker, brings over 15 years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and integrated communications.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Chandran shared, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as National Head – Creative Services & Social Analytics at GroupM!”
Prior to his tenure at Wavemaker, he worked with leading firms such as Chords United, Maxus, Tonic Buzz, Adfactors PR, Phat Phish India, Goonj, and Cartwheel Creative Consultancy. He began his career as a Junior Copywriter at Cartwheel Creative Consultancy in 2008.
With a diverse background spanning strategic planning, digital marketing, public relations, social media measurement, and advertising, Chandran’s expertise is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening GroupM’s creative services and data-driven social analytics initiatives.
