The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) released audited data for the January-December 2023 period amongst member publications, according to the data, The Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar has been named the largest circulated daily in India across all languages with 3,126,656 copies followed by Dainik Jagran (Hindi) with 2,583,704 copies. The Malayalam language daily Malayala Manorama came third with a daily circulation of 18,16,081 copies.
Times of India is the only English daily to enter the top 10 list in the across languages category with 1,814,517 daily copies. The Hindi daily Amar Ujala came 5th with daily copies of 1,728,254 followed by Hindustan (Hindi) with 1,574,781 copies followed by Rajasthan Patrika with 1,372,730. The Telugu daily Eenadu took the 8th spot with copies of 1,316,479 followed by Daily Thanthi with a daily circulation copies of 1,158,832. The Telugu daily Sakshi stood at the 10th spot with 1,031,956 copies.
In the Magazine category data across all languages amongst the members, Malayala Manorama group’s Malayala Manorama magazine and The Week took the first and second spot respectively with 148,654 and 71,320 copies.
In the Weekly newspapers category amongst the members (across all languages), Ravivasriya Hindustan (Hindi) came first with copies of 744,466 followed by Sunday Times of India (English) with copies of 393,106. The English weekly The Economic Times on Saturday came third with 155,376 copies followed by Mathrubhumi Thozhilvartha (Malayalam).
