According to data from Chrome DM (Source: Chrome Track 2.0, Mkt-All India Urban, C&S Base-69.21Mn Mn Week-04′ 2023), AajTak has topped the Pay TV Channels chart with 89.69pc OTS. Zee News sealed the second spot with 85.30pc, followed by Zee Hindustan at 84.92pc. News 18 India came in fourth place with 78.89pc and NDTV at 5th place with 72.68pc.
Meanwhile ABP, India TV and R Bharat have achieved nearly 100pc OTS among Free-To-Air (FTA) channels.
As per the Chrome DM data (Source: Chrome Track 2.0, Mkt-All India Urban, C&S Base-69.21 Mn Week-04’2023), CNN-News18 took the lead among Pay TV channels in English news genre with 78.02pc OTS, followed closely by Mirror Now at 74.77pc. Times Now came in third place with 68.31pc and India Today was fourth with 65.73pc. NDTV 24X7 stood at 5th place with 53.68pc.
Among FTA channels in the English News genre, Republic TV was the top performer in the English news genre with 96.79 OTS, followed by Al Jazeera and France 24 with 55.30pc and 54.02pc at second and third place respectively. News X came in fourth place with 30.58pc and Channel News Asia followed at fifth place with 27.54pc.
OTS is the actual census-based, percentage connectivity of a channel spread across 76.16 mn homes, reported by Chrome Data Analytics & Media, spread across Digital Cable and DTH.
