New Delhi: Aaj Tak is set to redefine television debates with the launch of ‘Bahas Baazigar’, India’s first-ever debate-along show. Hosted by Anjana Om Kashyap, this unique format brings together representatives from different political ideologies, structured into two teams—one for the motion and the other against it—engaging in a structured, meaningful debate before a live audience.
Unlike conventional debate shows, ‘Bahas Baazigar’ ensures orderly, time-bound arguments rather than chaotic discussions. Each speaker gets a set time to present their case, making room for fact-driven discourse. A panel of expert judges evaluates the debate, but the real decision-makers are the viewers—who can vote in real-time, determining the winning side.
To make audience participation seamless, viewers can cast their votes live through the Aaj Tak app by scanning on-screen QR codes. This interactive feature ensures a transparent and engaging experience, where every opinion matters.
Aaj Tak aims to break away from the traditional debate format, giving viewers an active role in shaping discussions. With ‘Bahas Baazigar’, the network is taking a step toward more accountable and meaningful public discourse, making debates more inclusive and engaging.
Tune in to Aaj Tak every Saturday at 8 PM to be part of the conversation.
