Nick Seckold CEO of Mindshare Singapore is leaving the agency.
Seckold will be taking on a new role as head of Facebook’s Atlas team for APAC. He will be reporting to the global head of Atlas in London, Damien Burns.
Seckold told Marketing he would be tasked to grow the Atlas business and nurture the people-based marketing function in APAC.
Seckold took on the role of CEO of Mindshare Singapore in 2013 following the departure of Leela Nair. His promotion came after spending three years in Singapore working as Mindshare’s regional head quarters as head of digital, Asia Pacific.
Before relocating to Singapore in 2010, he spent four years working for Mindshare in the UK where he helped establish the agency’s reputation as a market leader in arguably one of the most competitive markets in the world.
Meanwhile, Melissa Tang, managing partner of Mindshare Singapore and head of exchange will be replacing Seckold. She has held the role for a year. Prior to that, Tang was business director at Mindshare. She has been with the agency since 2008.
