Mumbai : The Chief Content & Creative Officer and a long time associate of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited Bharat Ranga has put in his papers.
Ranga had been associated with Zee since 1998 and he was in charge of managing content business for all domestic entertainment channels of ZEEL since 2012. Prior to that Ranga was Executive Director, International Operations, leading and managing the international business of Zee Group in overseas markets in 167 countries, with offices spread over 15 countries during the period 2007 to 2012.
Ranga, who put down his papers on 23 September, according to a source in the network will serve his last day on 7 October 2014. He is yet to reveal his further plans.
An internal communication from the MD and CEO Punit Goenka reads “We wish to inform that Mr Bharat Ranga has decided to pursue his career beyond ZEE. With deep regret, we have accepted his decision and will always wish him the very best for his future endeavours”.
Bharat also worked for major media organizations including Times of India before Joining ZEEL.
Ranga was a B Com graduate and did his MBA in Marketing from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University and pursued an advanced management degree from Wharton School.
