Mumbai : Sony Entertainment Television is set to launch new fiction show Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do that will premiere on 20 October 2015, which will be aired on every Monday to Friday at 9:00 PM.
The show stars Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh as the protagonists and it is produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. It marks the comeback for both Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh. The channel is expecting this to be game changer for Sony TV and will help the channel to regain its lost position in lines of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do on Sony TV is the story of Ishan and Preet. They are part of the prosperous Hooda family, which is an extremely prosperous business family of Delhi. They have many businesses across industries. But, the cornerstone of their business is their arms business with the Indian government.
Mr Hooda and Mrs. Hooda have three children- Trisha, Niti and Sid. Ishan (Iqbal Khan) is the nephew of Mr. Hooda and is married to Preet (Mona Singh). Ishan and Preet are the perfect couple. They keep the entire family together. Though, everyone considers them a perfect couple there is a major difference in their behaviors when they are with their family and when they are alone.
When the Hooda family realizes all is not well with the ideal couple, they take it upon themselves to bring Ishan and Preet closer to each other. The show is based on the insight that family is the driving force which stops us from going astray in life and stands by our side even in the worst of circumstances.
Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do was earlier slated to go on-air during early October but due the period of shradh between 28th September to 12th October according to the Hindu calendar. Apparently, Ekta wanted to avoid starting a new project during this period and requested the channel to shift the launch to 20th October.
