Mumbai : Nikhil Madhok has been appointed as Business Head of Life OK, He is elevated from his current role as Marketing Head of Star India’s flagship channel Star Plus.
Life OK has now become a serious contender for leadership in the Hindi GEC space and In his new role, Madhok and his team’s mandate will be to focus on breakthrough innovation on both the content and brand fronts to take Life OK strongly towards its ambitious goals.
Madhok has played a key role in fortifying the Star Plus channel’s leadership position in the last three years. His work helped launch iconic shows like Satyamev Jayate, Mahabharat and Ye Hai Mohhabatein.
Apparently, Life OK has got a strong man to focus fully on the channel’s growth after the exit of Ajith Thakur as Gaurav was given additional charge of Life OK so far.
On the other hand, the current Marketing Head of the Jalsha cluster, Sumanta Bose, takes over as Head of the Jalsha business. The Jalsha success story has been a source of constant pride for the Star Network with the teams raising the bar year on year and setting even loftier goals.
Sumanta Bose has played a very significant role in crafting and executing the strategies that have made both Sanjay Gupta, COO, Star India highly successful. Bose and his team are tasked with breaking their own records and keeping the scorching pace of growth unaltered.
