ASUS Tek Computer Inc. has appointed Mirum to drive a global campaign for the company’s PC business.
Taiwan-based ASUS, one of the world’s largest PC manufacturers, has appointed Mirum to create a global toolkit in order to execute campaigns across all platforms, spanning digital and traditional media.
“We are thrilled to be appointed by ASUS. This presents an exciting opportunity to work with a truly dynamic brand in a very competitive market,” said Nanda Ivens, Asia Pacific CEO for Mirum.
Ivens, who led the pitch, worked with digital creative, social, planning and technology leads from Mirum’s offices across the region, as well as senior regional planning and creative leadership from J. Walter Thompson, to develop the strategy and creative idea that won the pitch. Mirum will lead the account, backed by a joint Mirum-J. Walter Thompson agency team.
This partnership illustrates the collaborative offering that defines Mirum, a new global digital network that was launched in January after 11 digital agencies owned by the J. Walter Thompson Company, including XM Asia, were united into one company spanning 17 countries and 40 offices.
“Mirum showed innovative thinking, both in terms of strategy, platforms and insight, and that was exactly what we were looking for,” said Erik Hermanson, ASUS Head of Marketing. “Nanda’s put a powerhouse Mirum-J. Walter Thompson team together for us, and we look forward to working with them to elevate our brand across global markets.”
“Mirum’s mission from the onset was to operate as one of the most connected agencies in the world,” added Dan Khabie, Mirum Global and North America CEO. “This win validates and amplifies not only how we work as a network but also how we can seamlessly partner with J. Walter Thompson to deliver a global strategies and solutions.”
