One of Mindshare Indonesia’s longest serving business directors has left the agency to join the client Nestle Indonesia.
Rubin Suardi, who worked for Mindshare in two stints over 13 and a half years, latterly as partner, has been appointed head of marketing and communications for the consumer goods giant.
He joins with a brief to lead digital media, marketing and communications planning, media investment and CRM activity for Nestlé Indonesia, which is one of the country’s largest advertisers.
Suardi started his career at Mindshare in 2001, where he helped launch digital arm M Digital and worked on the agency’s first digital media project for Unilever.
Rubin Suardi from Mindshare Indonesia moved on to ZenithOptimedia Singapore in 2008 and handled clients like HP and StarHUB before returning back to Mindshare.
He has worked at Mindshare ever since, moving from a purely digital role to a broader remit running Mindshare’s blue chip clients.
Suardi’s role at Mindshare, as partner, client leadership, has been covered by Amir Suherlan, another long-serving staffer with almost 12 years of experience with the agency.
